One of the Raven’s guiding principles is to support microbreweries in the North Wales and Borders region. All year round we have three cask ales to choose from.
We also like to post Tasting Notes for the guest beers on our Facebook page.
Our ever-popular house ale is “Snowdonia” and is brewed by Porthmadoc based brewery Purple Moose. This is supplemented by a variety of guest cask ales of differing types. This means that usually, our customers return as often as possible to sample the wide range of differing tastes.

Locally Brewed
We also offer beers brewed just up the road from local micro brewery, Cwrw Iâl Brewery, as well as the popular is the range of locally produced ciders from Rosies made in Llandegla, in addition to Strongbow, Magners, and Koppaberg. We also stock Guinness and Tetley Smooth flow, as well as lager from Wrexham microbrewery, alongside San Miguel and Carlsberg.
We have been in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for a number of years and voted Pub of the Year in 2011 by out local branch and were awarded Community Pub of The Year 2019.

Something non-alcoholic? As well as a range of soft drinks we stock non-alcoholic beers/drinks.
We also do a great cuppa coffee as well as a fabulous variety of teas.
